Symposium Objectives

1. Accelerate CO₂ Research Collaboration between Norway and Texas
2. Provide opportunity for experts in industry and academia to collectively discuss CO₂ research
3. Provide Post docs and PhD students with current research status and the way forward
4. Provide oil industry an opportunity to communicate needs to the next generation engineers
5. Emphasize CO₂ as mean to mitigate negative climate effects in oil production

The conference is free of charge. Travel expenditure and hotel accommodations will be covered for students approved as attendees.

The first application deadline is Jun. 2nd 2017, and the second application deadline is Aug. 25th 2017 (limited number of participants).

For US students: travel expenditure and hotel accommodation from Oct. 4th-6th will be covered according to the NorTex regulations.

For Norwegian students: Due to the distance of travel, you may also apply for hotel accommodation in order to attend the SPE ATCE in San Antonio, TX, the week after. Thus, travel expenditure and hotel accommodation from Oct. 9th – Oct. 13th will be covered according to the NorTex regulations. More information will be provided if your application is approved.
